This award recognises an inspirational business leader, aged 36 or over as of August 11, 2024, who has shown exceptional commitment to their workplace, industry, and community through their leadership and mentorship.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for this category, the individual must be a business owner or have held a senior management or executive-level position within their organisation for a minimum of 12 months at the time of entry.

Judging Criteria:
The Best in Business Committee will consider the following when judging excellence in this category:

• Leadership Qualities: How the nominee has demonstrated strong leadership skills.

• Achievements: Specific outcomes and successes the nominee has accomplished.

• Overcoming Challenges: Any barriers or difficulties the nominee has faced and how they overcame them.

• Community Impact: How the nominee’s leadership has benefited the community.

• Mentorship: How the nominee has assisted or mentored other local business owners and managers.

 

This award seeks to honour those who not only excel in their professional roles but also contribute significantly to the growth and development of others and the broader community.
