The Best in Business judges will assess the following criteria when judging excellence in this category:

• Innovation: The use of innovative approaches or technologies to enhance the guest experience or improve operational efficiency.

• Local Engagement: The extent to which the business engages with the local community and supports local tourism initiatives.

• Sustainability Practices: The implementation of sustainable practices to reduce the environmental impact of the business.

• Contribution to Tourism: The overall impact of the business on the local tourism sector, including its contribution to the economy and promotion of the Gladstone Region as a tourist destination.

• Inclusiveness & Accessibility: The promotion of inclusivity and accessibility in the business's operations and services.
