This award recognises an inspirational young business leader, aged 35 or under as of August 11, 2024, who has shown exceptional commitment to their workplace, industry, and community through their leadership.

 

Eligibility:
To be eligible for this category, the individual business owner or have held a senior management or executive-level position within their organisation for a minimum of 12 months at the time of entry.

Judging Criteria:
The Best in Business Committee will consider the following when judging excellence in this category:

• Leadership Qualities: How the nominee has demonstrated strong leadership skills.

• Achievements: Specific outcomes and successes the nominee has accomplished.

• Overcoming Challenges: Any barriers or difficulties the nominee has faced and how they overcame them.

• Community Impact: How the nominee’s leadership has benefited the community.

 

This award aims to recognise young leaders who excel in their professional roles while making substantial contributions to their industry and the wider community.
